Work together to achieve victory with Rampshot Classic, the original teamwork-fueled version of Rampshot gameplay! The first team to earn 15 points wins!
BEFORE THE GAME
Pick your partner! Whether you’re playing with friends or family, it’s time to get serious and find the teammate that you work best with. Set up your ramps! Place the two ramps 15 feet apart facing each other.
DURING THE GAME
Decide which team is going first!
Get into Position!
Have the Shooter line up behind a ramp and get ready to shoot. Their teammate will act as the Playmaker by standing a little ways behind the opposite ramp and catching the ball if it bounces off of the ramp.
The opposing team should get into position as well. The Stealer will stand on the same side as the Shooter to try and catch any ball that bounces towards them off the ramp. The Odd-Person-Out will stand to the side for this portion of the game, and cheer on their teammate!
After the Shooter attempts to score twice, switch positions! Make sure all members of the game get a chance to be in every position, so everyone can get in on the action.
SCORING
Single (1 Point): The Playmaker catches a ball that bounced off the ramp.
Triple (3 Points): The Shooter tosses the ball directly into the goal.
Steal (Earn an extra shot): The Stealer catches a ball that bounces back from the ramp.
ROOKIE
RampShot Rookie is a brand-new way to play that is great for younger kids, beginners or casual game play. With all the elements of the original RampShot, RampShot Rookie keeps all the excitement but simplifies the scoring and rotating of positions. With RampShot Rookie, players of all abilities (and attention spans) can enjoy playing RampShot with a greater chance of scoring! Watch the video for a thorough how-to.
Scoring:
Scoring works a bit differently. In this version, players earn one point for hitting any part of the board, two points for hitting the board and The Playmaker catches it, and three points if the ball makes it into the net. The defence has a chance to get a point, if they catch a ball that bounces off of the front ramp.
All of the rules for Rampshot Classic stay, except for scoring!
SLAPBACK
Are you ready to take your RampShot game to the next level? RampShot has now released a new method of play for advanced players that is sure to add a whole new level of excitement to your game.
While traditional point values have always been a single (1 point) or a triple (3 points), RampShot with Slapback gives your team the ability to now earn a double (2 points).
Scoring:
There is now a way to earn two points during the game. Instead of catching the ball, the Playmaker can slap it and have the Shooter attempt to catch it. If the Shooter catches it, the team gets 2 points.
